April 30, 2024 – Wayne High senior Kate Hill received the State Nebraska Bank & Trust FFA Scholarship this year.

Established in 2018, this scholarship recognizes a graduating senior in FFA at Wayne High School who plans to study and have a career in agriculture.  Recipients must demonstrate character, leadership, respect, and work ethic in all aspects of life, living out the FFA Motto of “Learning to Do, Doing to Learn, Earning to Live, Living to Serve.”

Scholarship recipients receive $1,000 each for their college education.  Ms. Hill plans to attend Kansas State University this fall and major in ag business.

SNB Loan Officer Chris McGuire presented the scholarship to Kate Hill at the FFA Banquet in Wayne on April 28, 2024.
