Welcome to Our Full-Service Campus Branch
In October 2020, State Nebraska Bank & Trust opened its new SNBuilding, a 14,000-square-foot facility across from Wayne State College. This state-of-the art building is home to the bank’s second location in Wayne, the Campus Branch, featuring a walk-in lobby, 24-hour ATM, and drive-thru lanes with our local employees.
The SNBuilding has a basketball/pickleball court for community use and individual office suites for lease on the second floor. The SNBuilding is also home to State National Insurance Company, the bank’s partner, and BeckAg, a leader in consulting services for the agricultural industry.
“We are proud to continue our investment in Wayne with the opening of this new facility,” said Matthew Ley, CEO of State Nebraska Bank & Trust. “This building will strengthen our support of Wayne State College and the community with expanded banking services, a community recreational facility, and prime office space to attract new businesses and entrepreneurs.”
Ashley Rewinkel, Branch Manager and Personal Banker at the Campus Branch, is responsible for opening and administering loans, managing the day-to-day workflow of the Campus Branch, and overseeing use of the SNBuilding’s community gym. “I’m excited for this opportunity to manage our second branch in an incredible new building,” said Rewinkel. “The convenience to Wayne State College will help make it easier to build strong relationships with students and staff, while the building’s new basketball and pickleball court gives the community another great space to exercise and meet.”
Wayne State College students, faculty, and staff are invited to visit our Campus Branch to open a special Wildcat Account, use our gym, or host a meeting in our 2nd floor conference room. The location across from WSC makes it convenient for Wildcats to access banking services in person, while customers can still take advantage of our online and mobile banking options 24/7.

Who designed and built the SNBuilding?
The SNBuilding was designed by Roy Ley with Hoke Ley, an architecture and interior design firm in Lawrence, Kansas. Roy is the brother of Matthew Ley and designer of the Main Branch at 2nd and Main Streets in Wayne.
Bank CEO Matt Ley made it a priority to hire local contractors as much as possible throughout construction of the SNBuilding to help support the local economy. The bank used Otte Construction from Wayne as the general contractor, just like it did for construction of its Main Branch in downtown Wayne. According to Ley, “Every chance we had, we hired a local contractor. From the framing to the electric, all the way down to the furniture purchases, we used local talent and local businesses.”
