March 25, 2023 – Congratulations to Justin Gapp, Assistant Vice President and IT Officer, for receiving Firefight of the Year Award.  Justin was presented with this special award by Wayne Fire Chief Phil Monahan, as a sign of his outstanding leadership, dedication, and commitment to the Wayne volunteer Fire Department, where he has served for 2 years on top of his full-time position with the bank.

Justin joined State Nebraska Bank & Trust in 2021.  As our IT Officer, Justin is responsible for the operation and security of all computer systems, hardware, and software.  He received his certificate for Bank Technology Management from the Graduate School of Banking in Madison, Wisconsin.

For over 10 years, Justin volunteered with the Titonka Fire Department in Iowa and served as a driver for the Titonka Ambulance Service.  In addition to volunteering with the Wayne Fire Department, Justin serves on the board for the Wayne Community Chest.  Outside of work, Justin enjoys camping, fishing, pheasant hunting, hiking and tinkering in his garage.  He and his wife live in Wayne with their two children.
