Eilers and Vovos Receive SNB FFA Scholarships

April 16, 2021 – Wayne High seniors Emily Eilers and Colton Vovos received the State Nebraska Bank & Trust FFA Scholarships this year. Established in 2018, the State Nebraska Bank & Trust FFA Scholarship recognizes two graduating seniors in FFA at Wayne High School who plan to study and have a career in agriculture.  Recipients must demonstrate character, leadership, respect and work ethic in all aspects of life, living out the FFA Motto of “Learning to Do, Doing to Learn, Earning to Live, Living to Serve.” Scholarship recipients receive $1,000 each for their college education.  Ms. Eilers plans to attend the University of Nebraska in Lincoln to study Agricultural and Environmental Sciences Communications.  Mr. Vovos plans to attend South Dakota State University to major in Precision Ag.
