January 26, 2024 – Our bank employees wore jeans to celebrate their 100% participation in the local Wayne Community Chest campaign for the 10th year in a row. We beat our fundraising goal and raised $2,726 through employee contributions, which was matched dollar for dollar by the bank. The results? SNB’s combined donation of $5,452 was over 12% of the Wayne Community Chest’s total campaign goal.

The Wayne Community Chest supports agencies that help Wayne and the surrounding areas become the place we love to live and work. Some of those agencies include Haven House, TeamMates, the Wayne Association of Congregations and Ministers, the Senior Center, the Wayne County Museum, and the Majestic Theatre.We are proud to support the Wayne Community Chest each year and believe this kind of community investment goes a long way in touching the lives of many in Wayne. We also thank our Assistant Vice President and IT Officer, Justin Gapp, for coordinating the bank’s fundraising efforts and serving on the board for the Wayne Community Chest.
