May 3, 2023 – Wayne High seniors Riley Haschke and Ella Leseberg received the State Nebraska Bank & Trust FFA Scholarships this year. Established in 2018, these scholarships recognize two graduating seniors in FFA at Wayne High School who plan to study and have a career in agriculture. Recipients must demonstrate character, leadership, respect, and work ethic in all aspects of life, living out the FFA Motto of “Learning to Do, Doing to Learn, Earning to Live, Living to Serve.” Scholarship recipients receive $1,000 each for their college education. Ms.Haschke will attend Buena Vista University, and Ms. Leseberg will attend Nebraska College of Technical Agriculture in Curtis.
