Cook-Off for a Cause Raises Money for Wayne Food Pantry
April 18, 2025 – SNB held its annual Cook-Off for a Cause to raise money for the local Wayne Food Pantry. Sixteen bank employees prepared food over four days, with each day assigned a different category, like soups, appetizers, salads, and desserts. By the end of the week, Amber Sperry’s Lemon Cheesecake was the winner, taking the Best Baker apron and Golden Ladle from last year’s winner, Kirby Hall. Employees donated money to sample the dishes and raised $339 for the Wayne Food Pantry. Since 2017, these tasty competitions have raised over $2,000.
