April 13, 2019 – Wayne High seniors Allison Claussen and Hana Nelsen receive the first State Nebraska Bank & Trust FFA Scholarships.
Established in 2018, the State Nebraska Bank & Trust FFA Scholarship recognizes two graduating seniors in FFA at Wayne High School who plan to study and have a career in agriculture. Recipients must demonstrate character, leadership, respect and work ethic in all aspects of life, living out the FFA Motto of “Learning to Do, Doing to Learn, Earning to Live, Living to Serve.”
The scholarships are awarded at the Wayne FFA Banquet in the spring. Scholarship recipients receive $1,000 each for their college education.
Ron Gentrup presented the scholarships to first-time recipients Allison Claussen and Hana Nelsen at the FFA Banquet in Wayne.
