SNB FFA Scholarships Awarded

May 13, 2020 – Wayne High seniors Faith Junck and Casey Koenig received the State Nebraska Bank & Trust FFA Scholarships this year.

Established in 2018, the State Nebraska Bank & Trust FFA Scholarship recognizes two graduating seniors in FFA at Wayne High School who plan to study and have a career in agriculture. Recipients must demonstrate character, leadership, respect and work ethic in all aspects of life, living out the FFA Motto of “Learning to Do, Doing to Learn, Earning to Live, Living to Serve.”

Scholarship recipients receive $1,000 each for their college education. Ms. Junck plans to attend the University of Nebraska in Lincoln this fall, where she will study Ag Communications and minor in Food Science. Mr. Koenig plans to attend South Dakota State University to major in Agronomy and minor in Precision Ag.
