SNB Cooks Off for Wayne Food Pantry
December 7, 2019 – State Nebraska Bank & Trust held its 4th annual employee Soup Cook Off the week of December 2nd to raise money for the local Wayne Food Pantry. Employees made different kinds of soup for lunch each day and then voted on the best tasting ones after making a donation. Homemade soups included shrimp gumbo, taco, pasta fagoli and more. Conni Davis’s sirloin chili received the most votes. Overall, SNB employees raised $416 to donate to the Wayne Food Pantry. Employees also brought in boxes filled with canned and packaged food to help stock the pantry’s shelves this holiday season.
