Congrats Galen Wiser, 2014 Citizen of the Year

January 28, 2015 – Congratulations to our Director and Retired President, Galen Wiser, who received the 2014 Wayne Area Economic Development/Chamber Citizen of the Year Award at the annual WAED/Chamber Banquet on January 25, 2015.

Galen Wiser is a perfect example of what it means to be the WAED/Chamber Citizen of the Year.  From service in organizations like Wayne Rotary and United Way, to Providence Medical Center and the Chamber of Commerce, Galen embodies the meaning of giving back as a citizen.  Not only are we proud of you Galen, but we are inspired by your service to our community.  You’ve helped make Wayne a better place, and for that, we sincerely thank you.
